Florence de Dreuzy

I’m Florence de Dreuzy, an expert in language and communication coaching and the founder of Avord Fluent Languages. My mission is to empower clients to enhance their language skills and navigate demanding professional environments with confidence and ease. As the French representative for the International Language Coaching Association (ILCA), I specialize in intercultural and strategic communication, helping individuals overcome linguistic and cultural challenges to achieve their goals.

My Background

My academic and professional journey has equipped me with a well-rounded expertise in language coaching and learner support.

 

International Language Coaching Association (ILCA): In 2021, I completed ILCA’s FEEL program, a comprehensive four-phase curriculum—Foundation, Expansion, Elevate, and Lead—designed for language coaches. This program deepened my understanding of learner-centered coaching methodologies and expanded my skills in Public Speaking, Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Executive Coaching, Life Coaching, and Career Coaching.

PESI Healthcare: In 2024, I earned a certification in Outdoor Psychotherapy, which explores the techniques and benefits of therapy in natural settings. The training integrates Mindfulness, Nature Therapy, and Language Coaching, allowing me to incorporate a therapeutic and compassionate dimension into my work. By leveraging outdoor environments, I create calming and engaging learning experiences for my clients.

Diploma of Language Proficiency (DCL), Aix-Marseille University: In 2014, I achieved a C1 level in English through this national diploma accredited by the French Ministry of Education, solidifying my expertise in teaching English as a foreign language.

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), University of Cambridge: Between 2006 and 2007, I completed the CAE at a C1 level, further establishing my credentials in English language teaching.

Trauma-Informed Care, Portland State University: This certification provided me with a deeper understanding of trauma-informed practices, covering topics such as neurobiology, epigenetics, and resilience. This training enables me to adapt my approach to the unique emotional needs of learners, offering support that is sensitive, empathetic, and empowering.
